3 on 3 Hockey International announces the tournament line-up for 2001. Find out why Wayne Gretzky & Mario Lemieux have been quoted that "3 on 3 hockey provides much better opportunities for players to develop". They also recognize the benefits of playing a more entertaining style of hockey with more room to move on the ice. Enjoy more puck handling, skating & shooting opportunities in a 3 on 3 game than you would generally find in a regular 5 aside game. Our spring 2000 tournament had 171 teams in 27 divisions, including our first girls division! The Ontario tournament's locations are in London and in the Cambridge/Brantford's Wayne Gretzky arena, and are held in the spring & fall, so as not to interfere with the regular season. Teams are composed of up to 9 skaters & a goalie, and the games are full ice, non-contact, fast-paced excitement!
