Currently in the non-varsity American Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Division action, Michigan and Penn State lead the
East region, with Pittsburgh and Maryland in third and fourth place. And
in the West region, St. Cloud State and Wisconsin lead the way, with Colorado
and Arizona State close behind. After the final ranking is announced on March 4, the top 4 teams from each region will travel to Wentzville, Missouri for the
inaugural ACHA Women's Division National Tournament to be held March 30-April 1,
2001. At this 8-team tournament there will be awards for the first through
fourth place finishing teams, tournament MVP and 6 All-Tournament Players. For
